Site News Description

By Adrian Osman | 5 April 2013 | 21 Share

This is an article about the Adventure Spot. This page section will rely on the same functionality as a blog to deliver regular information to users. This information will include, but is not limited too: Site updates, site news, featured adventures, and more! Users can share these articles via the share button and see how many times an article has been shared. All articles are tagged with the creator's name and the date of creation. Users will be able to use the navigation at the bottom of the page to read past news articles.

Featured Adventures

By Adrian Osman | 5 April 2013 | 3 Share

Featured Adventures are a way of picking interesting or popular adventures and sharing them with the community. A featured adventure will have it's photo displayed on the main page, with the adventure title tagged in front of the image. Featured adventures will only be viewable from the main page. Eventual functionality could include informing users they have a featured adventure, and tagging adventures in the adventure search that are or have been featured.

Site Notes

Currently, all content on the site is set up as a place holder. Until php functionality is added, you will not be able to turly interact with the content. The majority of the site is aimed around the use of forms to submit content and then display it for other users. The mobile site or application will use the same forms, but redesigned with their own theme to deliver content. You can view wireframes and visual mockups for the mobile site in my thesis proposal.
